The inland of Porto Maurizio offers many villages to visit and unusual landscapes in Val Prino.
We suggest to visit the Sanctuary of Montegrazie, in the countryside where there is a 360-degree view of the sea and the Alps. In the village of Dolcedo you can walk along the river Prino with the wheels of the old mill and reach the bridge built by the Knights of Malta.

Prelà

Prelà, with its surroundings, is located in the upper valley Prino: a land full of mills and crushers in 1400. To visit the beautiful church of San Giovanni del Groppo.

Pantasina

Pantasina above is the sanctuary of the Madonna della Guardia, from where you can see a unique view of the mountains and the sea. After you come to Colle d'Oggia and reach the valleys and Argentina Arroscia along a lunar landscape with a strong appeal.
What makes it even more fascinating hinterland of the province of Imperia is that almost all the valleys, from Diano Marina to Ventimiglia, are connected together. 

Vasia

In Vasia you can visit the church of San Martino with its beautiful Romanesque bell tower. The road back to Imperia is located on a ridge from which you can dominate the valleys around the villages surrounded by olive trees and shrines.

Lecchiore

Going up the valleys, one can not fail to observe three things. First, the streams, which are often entangled in or create channels of beautiful natural lakes (such as those of Lecchiore), a useful time to bring water to the mills. Suggestive is also the vast expanse of olive trees that can be seen from any position. The extra virgin olive oil is proposed more and more like a really traditional, high quality, designed to meet the needs of the modern diet.
