Pigna

Pigna (Im) (40min): om zijn historische verleden en de kostbaarheid van het artistieke erfgoed monumenten, kunt u de hoofdstad van de Val Nervia, een van de mooiste valleien van de West-ligure definiëren. In de vallei, in Lago Pigo, is er een zwavelhoudende bron, met spa en hotel. Het zwavelhoudende water wordt gebruikt voor crenotherapie met uitstekende resultaten bij de behandeling van de huid en het uiterlijk, baden en modderbaden, inhalaties en behandelingen voor hart-en vaatziekten, ademhalings-en bewegingsapparaat.

Villa Faraldi

Villa Faraldi (Im) (50 min): ondergedompeld in een omgeving waar de natuur en de mens het werk samen te komen op een unieke manier, het creëren van een weelderige olijfgaarden begrensd door droge stenen muren, is het ondubbelzinnig bewijs van een oude landelijke geschiedenis. Het dorp, met smalle straatjes, 's nachts verlicht door spectaculaire lantaarns, is van middeleeuwse oorsprong, hoewel de stele, dateert uit de II-I eeuw voor Christus en nu bewaard in de parochie waaruit blijkt dat de aanwezigheid gebied in de Romeinse tijd.

The Toirano's caves, in Savona, are a compound of important cavities, well known for the varities of stalactites and stalagmites. It's possible to see inside the remainds of the homo sapiens, dating 18.000 years ago.

Genoa

“Acquario Village” of Genoa 
(Genoa, by car=1h, by train 1,5h): The Aquarium of Genoa is the largest aquarium  in Italy  and the second largest in Europe. Built for Expo 92, the Aquarium of Genoa is an educational, scientific and cultural centre. Its mission is to educate and raise public awareness as regards conservation, management and responsible use of aquatic environments. It welcomes over 1.2 million visitors a year. The Aquarium of Genoa is co-ordinating the AquaRing EU project. It also provides scientific expertise and a great deal of content for AquaRing, including documents, images, academic content and interactive online courses, via its Online Resource Centre.

Bicycle path

"Bicycle path" Parco Costiero Ponente Ligure
(San Lorenzo al Mare auto=5 min.) è una delle più lunghe del Mediterraneo complessivamente 24 Km fruibili da pedoni e ciclisti in entrambe le direzioni di marcia; nasce sul tracciato costiero della vecchia ferrovia Genova-Ventimiglia. Il percorso è facile e pianeggiante, attraversa piccoli borghi e costeggia il tipico litorale mediterraneo, in tratti suggestivi, unici e inaccessibili un tempo. Dalla pista, la cui sede è spesso a ridosso del mare, è possibile accedere facilmente a spiagge e scogliere.
