Pigna

Pigna (Im) (40min): for its historic past and the preciousness of the artistic heritage monuments, you can define the capital of the Val Nervia, one of the most beautiful valleys of all the West ligure. In the Valley, in Lago Pigo, there is a sulphurous spring, with spa and hotel. The sulphurous water is used for crenotherapy with excellent results in the treatment of skin and appearance, baths and mud baths, inhalations and treatments for cardiovascular disease, respiratory and locomotor apparatus.

Villa Faraldi

Villa Faraldi (Im) (50 min): immersed in an environment where nature and man's work come together in a unique way, creating a lush olive groves bordered by dry stone walls, it is unequivocal evidence of an ancient rural history . The village, with narrow streets, lit up at night by spectacular lanterns, has medieval origins, although the stele, dated to the II-I century BC and now preserved in the parish attesting to the attendance area in Roman times.

Toirano

The Toirano's caves (SV) (Toirano, 40 min): The Toirano's caves, in Savona, are a compound of important cavities, well known for the varities of stalactites and stalagmites. It's possible to see inside the remainds of the homo sapiens, dating 18.000 years ago.

Genoa

“Acquario Village” of Genoa (Genoa, 1,5h): The Aquarium of Genoa is the largest aquarium  in Italy  and the second largest in Europe. Built for Expo 92, the Aquarium of Genoa is an educational, scientific and cultural centre. Its mission is to educate and raise public awareness as regards conservation, management and responsible use of aquatic environments. It welcomes over 1.2 million visitors a year. The Aquarium of Genoa is co-ordinating the AquaRing EU project. It also provides scientific expertise and a great deal of content for AquaRing, including documents, images, academic content and interactive online courses, via its Online Resource Centre.

Coastal Bike Park

"Bicycle path" Parco Costiero Ponente Ligure  (San Lorenzo al Mare 20 min): is one of the longest in the Mediterranean a total of 24 km can be used by pedestrians and cyclists in both directions of travel, was born on the coastal route of the old railway Genoa-Ventimiglia. The path is easy and flat, through small villages and along the typical Mediterranean coast, in picturesque features, unique and inaccessible in the past. From the race track, whose headquarters is often close to the sea, you have easy access to beaches and cliffs.
